They should be selling advance tickets at the Shiloh Center (3540 E. 14th Street) athletic office ticket window from 9am-1pm. Reserve section tickets are $6. General admission tickets are $5. Student tickets are $4 and are sold pre-game only. Play well mighty Panthers. |

| 1/18/2003 | - Calling all PESH Baseball Team Alumni! A visitor to the site asked me to post the following announcement:
PLANO EAST BASEBALL ALUMNI CLASSIC- Plano East Senior High Community (PESHC) has changed name to Plano East Network (PEN) to improve its web identity. The web site has been redesigned in conjunction with the name change. PEN will still strive to be the best Plano East Student/Alumni web site it can. I am sorry to announce that the web site, for the first time, will have advertising (banners) on each page. These are required by my free web host. I do not receive any personal gain from the banners aside from the hosting of this web site. Thanks for visiting the site and tell me what you think of the redesign. |

| 6/20/2002 | - By chance, I discovered an official alumni directory of PESH graduating classes from 1983 to 1994. You can find this book, logically called PESH Alumni Directory 1994 (Call no. 373.764556 PLA), at the Plano Harrington Library. Names, graduation years, addresses, and telephone numbers have been included. I know this new resource will be useful to many of you searching for old friends. I also found copies of every PESH yearbook at the same library. |
| 5/11/2002 | - A visitor to the site notified me that Daniel Pastor, salutatorian of the PESH 1999 graduating class, was awarded the Truman scholarship. He is a junior at Princeton, and is currently studying abroad in Chile. Congratulations Daniel! | 10/14/2001 | - Unfortunately, I bring the news about the untimely passing of a Plano East student and an alumnus in unrelated incidents. Carlos Andrade died after accidentally shooting himself October 6th. Samarth "Sam" Gupta was murdered October 7th during the attempted burglary of his car. My condolences to all involved. Darren Damewood has this to share about Sam: "I just wanted to say that the loss of Sam Gupta was great, especially to me who was just getting to know him better in our Psychology class at the University of Texas at Austin. R.I.P. Sam, i will never forget you!!" I also wanna pay my respects to one of my closest friends, Jeremy Backshire, who also attended Plano East and graduated in 2001 with me. He was a great guy and he was friends with everyone. | 9/10/2001 | - I am saddened to hear about the passing of another PESH student. Jeremy Blackshire (Class of 2001 graduate) was killed this Saturday (September 8th, 2001) on N. Central Expressway in Richardson by a gunshot wound to the head. I urge people with any information about this incident to contact the Richardson Police Department at (972) 744-4800. Wiggins, and a PSH student, Ryan Connelly, passed away in a car accident on Saturday, July 7th. My respects to the family and friends of these students. | 3/11/2001 | - Jennifer Lowe, Plano East Class of 2000 Graduate, passed away in a car accident this past Friday (March 9th, 2001). I did not get to know Jennifer beyond recognizing her face passing between classes in my high school career, but she, like all the members of the PESH Class of 2000, contributed to the overall Plano East atmosphere that I loved so much. | 10/14/2000 | - Plano East varsity football team beat Plano 21-10! - Removed the never finished "PESH Spanish Club" Section and replaced it with the "PESH C Photo Gallery" section - I spotted this article (D Magazine Online-Dallas/Fort Worth) about a Plano East graduate. - I finally figured out why I keep getting blank e-mails from AOL users! My guest book form (Sign the PESH C Guest Book) is incompatible with AOL's software. [Webmaster note: The form has been fixed as of 7/6/2001] Or maybe it's the other way around. I'll try and find a work around. Whilst I work on that, AOL users, please send guest book entries directly to me at planoeast@usa.net [Webmaster note: Obsolete] instead of using the form. | 4/8/2000 | - I have been humbled. My friend Kate Starwalt passed away yesterday (Friday, April 7th, 2000). The first words about the passing, typed to me over AOL Instant Messenger, were "Do you know what happened to Kate Starwalt?" The wording was peculiar, but I did not expect anything bad. "I heard she died on friday." That made me feel sick in my heart. I did not believe it. I IMed someone else. She confirmed it chillingly with "my dance instructor told me." This was no rumor. I called someone else still not believing. I asked if what I heard about Kate was true. The answer, "yeah." Now I am sitting here reflecting on this. Thanks for listening. You always had a smile on your face, Kate :) . love ya, kwang |
| 4/5/2000 | - I'm back - part II! This senior year has been HECTIC to say the least, but even when you don't see me post anything new to the "What's New" section, I'm usually silently updating the site. When I do any site changes, though, I always change the "Last updated:" bit, so check that. I'll try and do a major overhaul of the site soon adding the orchestra section, making the chat room (that's been "Under Construction" for quite a while hasn't it?), putting some more pictures up of East, completing the Spanish Club section, and doing many other GREAT (overdue?) things. If we give up Moody Coliseum, we may not be able to get it back! |
